Pool fences and the rules
In New Zealand a fence around a residential pool is a pool barrier under the Building Act, and councils inspect residential pool barriers every three years.
Our pool fencing uses vertical metal bars at 100mm spacing. If you are not sure what your pool needs, check with your council before you build, and we will build to it.
